Got myself an S

Extremely early Christmas gift from parents. Got it from Steve's in downtown Toronto, to my knowledge it was the last one.

needless to say I love it...from what the guy at the store told me though, string changing sounds like an adventure all in it's own...

Steve's is a great store. the guy who told me everything seemed more excited that i was buying it XD

another employee walked over (a really hot chick to boot ;D) and also seemed excited that someone was buying it.

They had a v-blade too, (which I've seen on every site but Ibanez's) but the lure of the S was too much. they also had a Sam totman signature, however it was just really really meh.

IMO theres nothing cool about the Sam Totman or the Herman lee S. I love my S2170se it's a hell of a guitar. Might i suggest a tonezone and an airnorton and some kind of stacked humbucker in the single coil spot. I hated the way my single coil sounded and mine was noisy. I hope you enjoy it those things really shred.

The totman sig is ""okay" because an Iceman with 24 frets and a trem is awesome, but the E-Gen is dead sexy. And it's purple.

IMHO
The totman sig is ""okay" because an Iceman with 24 frets and a trem is awesome, but the E-Gen is dead sexy. And it's purple.

I really dont like "odd" shaped guitars. I think the Iceman feels like crap. I dont care how many frets you put on it its still a stupid guitar in my opinion. Maybe you like the Lee sig but i dont. I cant see purple first of all im color blind. Second it has those stupid grip marks on the horn which is dumb. And i dont like the gold hardware. That and its VERY expensive. Skip the cute little grip marks and get a real S.

No way! The employees at the store who are likely commissioned sales people were excited that someone was buying a guitar from them? Crazy!! Just teasin ya though, sweet axe.

@Dantesstudio...the only stupid thing here is what you said. He said that "IMHO" (in his opinion), its a cool guitar. There wasnt really any need to jump in and defend your opinion that you dont like it. You're not the resident authority on what is or isnt cool with guitars, and if you're colorblind that's your problem. I dont like those 2 guitars either, but its just a matter of preference. No need for battle armor and long-winded descriptions of what you think is dumb

Anyway....back to this dudes very sweet new guitar! In the second pic, it makes the LP look a little dull. Nevertheless, LP's are nice. What type of music do you play?
