Hey guys, sorry if this isnt the place for this kind of post, I'm new here.
Anyways, I have an Ibanez RG350MDX, and for 4 years now my edge 3
bridge has been a huge problem. Not only whenever I touch it does everything go haywire, but i get fretbuzz as a result of it being a low-action trem (at least I think its supposed to be), and it pulls and goes out of tune even when I do bends.
The neck is ok (i may order a perle guitars replacement in the future), but with an edge on the JS1200 I have incoming, I have absolutely no need for the edge 3. Are there any fixed bridges that I can install into the edge 3 cavity, not just try and block off the bridge? Changing strings on it is a huge pain in the ass and I want something that will be 100% stable.
I'd prefer something that looks like a FR (I love the tight end-r, but they dont come loose).
Any suggestions for bridges and replacement/installation process?
