Re: guitar dilemma rg560 or 770

i have a red 90 rg650 that i got for 150 bucks(from a pawnshop that didnt know jack about guitars) and its a killer guitar, i wouldnt trade it for anything. I havent ever played a 770, but they are nice. basically play both of them and pick what you like and what is the better deal for you.

I prefer the LB 770, just because of the matching inlays. But red is a nice color on Ibanez. Either way you'll be happy, I'd go for whichever is closest to mint.

Re: guitar dilemma rg560 or 770

they're both standard old japanese made RGs, so one's not really better than the other.. though i imagine the 770s are rarer?

so if you can play them and decide, that would be best..

then, if the RG770 is DX version, you go for the RG770DX Laser Blue!!!.
the maple board with the sharkt. matching inlays looks very cool. i have two RG770DX (red & blue) and sounds awesome!.
and $450 is a very good price... if you dont buy it, you tell me. i will buy the guitar

regards.

I find the 7xx series has the ridicuously thin necks with the wizard profile which I love... the 5xx series has THE wizard profile neck.
Either way, whichever you're comfortable with should be a good buy...

Re: guitar dilemma rg560 or 770

Its not the DX version its the model from 1990. And about the location of the guitar I might keep secret, But what I do know is that the guy has to sell both I think. I will just have to go try them out.

From what he says they are in very good condition from the pics he sent, but the 770 does have the NJFC.
