H&S model??

Is this a type of radius model?? What is the difference between this one and the regular 540R? This one has California on the neckplate instead of Pennsylvania. Can anyone tell me more information about this one and how it compares to the regular 540R?? Thanks so much to all who reply.

Re: H&S model??

H&S is just the name of the internal division HUSA setup for the US assembly and finish of the Japanese parts guitars. All R, S, and P's from that era are all H&S assembled.

Re: H&S model??

You're obviously referring to the misguided e-bay add.

No guitar "is" H&S. H&S was in Bensalem until the custom shop moved to LA and H&S was also moved there so they could share and consolodate some operations. That's why there are Bensalem plates until around 1990 and then N. Hollywood plates.
