Hardware on Ibanez RG505
howdy
i have seen one of these for sale in a shop, but have never heard of them. How do they compare to the 550 ??
what hardware is on them ?? do they have an Lo Pro Trem ??

it was the 550 model equivalent in the years when they had the rg550dx ones out

The RG505 had the
Edge trem
rather than the Lo-Pro. It came with V7,V8 and S1 pickups and was released in Fall 1995.
Imho they're no different to a 550 with the exception of the
rosewood board
. Oh and it also had the slightly thicker Wizard II neck profile.

470 has the TRS, unless you get one of the late 80's models, but then I think it's still Korean. So either way, get a 5XX.
