Help identifiying Ibanez semi hollow

Hi all,

i have no pics to make it even harder...

This one is weird:

- No Ibanez logo on the headstock, just "Ibanez custom series" gold decal.
- No model number anywhere
- The serial is on the truss rod cover and does not match usual ibanez serials: PRT0500012
- The label in the F-hole say "Ibanez, hand built in Japan" and repeats the serial.
- The headstock is not black but natural mahogany...

OK I have the beginning of a trail...

PRT stands for prototype and 05 for 2005...hence no model name and the custom series I expect. Would this guitar be worth anything or should I just wait for an MIJ high end AS series? What's your take on it?

Not sure I am confident a prototype has been assembled with the usual care that goes into Ibz guitars...

Update #2

The timeline and style indicate this is the japan handmade prototype of the AS103.

Any idea where & how these protos are made? It looks tidy but not as good as a custom shop job.
