Help identify another even rarer RG560
Hi all. i bought this rg560 about a year ago. its serial is F012982 and it has rg560 stamped on the
neck joint
AND the neck. Although one of the stamps says HRG560. It also has a PAF Pro in the
bridge position
. The previous owner said he bought it new in japan and the guy who sold it to him said it was extremely rare. does anyone have a clue about it?
Notice the binding around the body and lack of chamfering for your arm on top of the body.

Re: Help identify another even rarer RG560
Its most probably an ex-employee guitar.
The come up on E-Bay occasionally, with reversed headstocks and different options.
Either that, or an old ex-endorsee had it built.
Nice guitar dude!

Nice axe. Body binding, bright red, reverse headstock. This is how a REAL RG should look! With a maple board it would look even more killer.

Re: Help identify another even rarer RG560
I own a RGR570 (reverse headstock model), maybe they made an RGR560, not sure though. It's the binding that definitely makes this thing unique. Could the binding be an after market mod?

Thats a good point.
Judging by the fact that the headstock and body binding is a different colour than the binding on the neck itself - I would say yes. An after market mod.

Re: Help identify another even rarer RG560
Hi all, thanks for all the good comments. the body definately isn't an aftermarket one. it has the rg560 stamp in the neck pocket. as for the binding being done later on, it is an extremely neat job and has obviously been painted AFTER it has been bound. The headstock is exactly the same colour and if you look carefully the top of the body isnt cut away on top for your arm to rest on. the top of the guitar is completely flat! anyway i appreciate everyones input and i will try to add some more detailed photos soon.

Re: Help identify another even rarer RG560
Oh and also if you will remember from my first post, the guy i bought this off was the original owner and he bought this guitar NEW in japan in exactly the same configuration as it is now. But with a few less battle scars though i bet!

Re: Help identify another even rarer RG560
I saw this one before, it's an exclusive
music store
model in japan, probably Ikebe..most of Ikebe exclusive model comes with HRG designation.
