Re: help me to identify this Ibanez
Looks like a 1989-1991 Ibanez 540R BK with upgraded active pickups and various
Steve Vai
and
Eric Johnson
signatures.

Re: help me to identify this Ibanez
yeah, definately a radius, 540 or 440. And a very nice pic, too
. Are those signatures stickers ? do you know which pickups were in there originally?

Re: help me to identify this Ibanez
Well, those are signatures stickers. I'm thinking of taking them off (do not know how to do it without pealing the paint off)
And the pickups are active EMG's (I bought it used) sounds VERY COOL.
I was thinking to Trade it for something else. But now I'm not sure
P.S. on the back it says "made in USA"

You need glasses so bad - it's not even funny......
It's a 540R and the
neck plate
means that it was assembled in the US from Japanese made parts.

Re: help me to identify this Ibanez
Those are some major finish cracks you got there.
I'd guess you could fetch 250-300USD in that condition, 350 if you're lucky.

Re: help me to identify this Ibanez
Stickers can be removed by peeling them off by hand as much as possible, then using isopropyl alcohol to remove the gluey residue left behind. Personally, I'd get this guitar refinished by a pro. It's a nice one, and definitely worthwhile.

take any values ppl here would suggest, then add 50 bucks if you cut those string leftovers at the headstock
