Help on IBZ bass S/N

Hello folks!
I have a good old Ibanez bass. I know it's an EX-series, but it kinda plays well. Since I'm not a bass player, it's enough for me (I only use it to write the bass lines to my songs).



It's a EXB404WH. S/N is 913508.
It used to be white, but now it's metallic dark red. (I might swirl it on a white/silver/gray mixup.)

So... where and when was it built?

pretty sure the serial number makes it a 1991 model and I believe all the EX models were made in Korea.

Stupid question on "where"... it says "Korea" in the headstock. Nevermind.

Still not sure about the "when"! I am leaning towards 1991.
But could it be "9" as in 1989 and "1" as in January?
