i need you guys to be totally honest

i'm poor and i have the chance to get a Ibanez GRG270(blood red), with ibanez amp, and soft carrying case, etc.etc.. blablabla...

my question is, is the guitar REALLY good?
i've been playing for 1 year now, and i have been shredding and sweeping on a peavey raptor 2, so i would like to know if this guitar is really really good.

because i can always buy an ephiphone..

Dude....it's a GRG270....an imitation RG....so I can't say that it's the worst guitar in the world, but if you're already shredding then I would suggest going a bit higher unless you're just getting a monster of a deal on it. But for a little more money, you can get an actual RG like a RG321 or 370DX. 6 months ago when I was looking to get a new guitar for like $200 I thought about getting a GRG but i'm glad that I waited and did a bit more research. Now I know that I'm going to be into guitar for a long haul, so I make my spending options thinking to the future.

Compare PRS to Ibanez? Thats like trying to compare a Car and a Boat on the basis of how well they fly. Doesnt make sense!

PRS and Ibanez are completely different instruments.

Not only that. PRS' are costly. An RG 370DX would be great for you, Leonheart. Then again, at least with the GRG, your getting an amp too.
