Yeah, I noticed the same things as Jason. My best guess is that it's an upgraded non-US market guitar. I've had a couple of RG340s, and this has some similar characteristics - TRS-101 trem (although I think my RG340s had a TRT-1, which is about the same thing), MIK sticker on headstock (although those were both P7 numbers), 22
fret neck, the pickups, although generic, look similar. Here's the 1988 catalog for those - don't know if this helps or not:

Those came with sealed no-name tuners with the screw holes, too. So, it's entirely possible that the
neck plate and tuners were swapped out at some point, I guess. But, who knows.
Also, very much agree with Brianxtr that we need more detailed pics.
Either way, it's kind of a cool guitar, a 22 fret RG550 style.
