Herman Li's S470/S670 - stock?

I stumbled across the videos of Herman Li - I didn't realise he used to play S470/S670s. Were they stock (apart from the pickups)? Any mods to the ZR? I presume they were also made in Korea/Indonesia? I'm surprised - I assumed he played something more upmarket before he got his signature. THough thinking about it that probably means his signature guitar was based on the S. Must check that out. And what year were his Ss and which neck?

1. Show us the video.
2. Any guitar player can play any kind of guitar.
3. I don't think he cares about where the guitar was made from, just as long as its playable.

I thought his main guitar was a 540. With an edge on it? Looked like it.

Hm.. yeah... seems to be a mid-90s S470 with a LO-TRS II trem. Thats pretty interesting since most people say that the LO TRS II is garbage and yet Herman has had that same guitar for 10 years and he does a lot of outrageous stuff on the guitar with the trem.

I was under the impression that he had a couple of them, with at least one that had the ZR as its his favourite Trem. But yea he only ever used lower end S's

That tired old S470 is still Herman's number one.
