Hi!!! Edge Pro and Edge III

Hi there!
I'm new here. I was told to come to this forum if I wanted to know more about Ibanez and it's tremolos

Anywhoo, straight to the point

I'm soon going to buy a new guitar. I was thinking of buying a Ibanez Prestige RG1570 (black)
But yesterday the color of my taste turned to white
The problem is that, i've been told that Edge III really isn't so good as the Edge Pro tremolo.
So, is it possible to change the tremolo from Edge III to Edge Pro, when i buy a guitar with an Edge III tremolo?

Doesn't really matter if the pickups suck, cuz i allready have excellent pickups which I plan to put on my new guitar

Edge III only fits ofr style trems, not the edge pro... unless my memory is failing me. Also I'd go for the 1570 because it is a much better guitar in every aspect really. The 1570 is Japanese made and not korean, its neck is 5 pieces and generally has more care put into it and the finish to me seems pretty cheap on the 350's.

Also you can get the 1570 in a nice red too, and again about the neck, the 1570 is a wizard and the 350 is a one piece wizard II which I much prefer the Wizard original. Also some argue that the non-prestige series Ibanezes, such as the 350dx, have cheaper pieces of wood and metal.

I've played the RG1570, the neck was too thin i had uncomforts.
I want it white too

No, I said this. Also the 350dx is only like 1mm thicker on some places and it is also not as wide so if you really hate a thin neck, then why get an RG and the difference between the 2 probably won't change your opinion on feel.

To answer your question, yes you can replace the edge III with an edge pro, it's a drop in replacement, no routing or anything of the sort required.
