Hi..need help buying a Rg guitar

Hi..Iīm triyin to buy a second hand RG guitar. Itīs here in an online Auction like Ebay..here in Venezuela called "Deremate.com"

In the auction the guy only says this:

LA VENDO POR NECESIDAD ECONOMICAS PANAS, ES UNA IBANEZ RG 550, DE COLOR MADERA CON CHAPA NEGRA,TIENE 5 MICROFONOS 2 HAMBUKERS Y UN SINGLE, VIENE CON FLOY ROSE ESTA EN MUY BUENAS CONDISIONES ES JAPONESA, NO COREANA ,JAPONESA OK ES DE MASTIL COMPLETAMENTE PLANO, EL MASTIL ESTA UN POCO GASTADO POR EL USO PERO DE VERDAD SE LAS RECOMIENDO SUENA DEMASIADO BIEN

Iīm gonna try to translate, forgive my english

"I need money..Itīs a Ibanez RG 550 Wood color, Black Scratchplate, 2 humbuckers, 1 single.. Comes with Floyd Rose, itīs in good condition, itīs Japanesee, not korean, very flat meck, the neck is a little weared by use..Sound too good.."

Itīdoesnīt have any picture!!!

I did some question and this are the answers:

"The pick ups?.. I guess are V2", "the Tremolo is Black and it says Edge",
"The fretboard is Rosewood"," It says RG550 in the neckpocket"."I believe is from early 90īs"

Itīs price is very cheap..around $120

If i buy it, he will send it to me, after i pay him..We live in very distant States..

So i want to know. Are There any RG550 With Rosewood fretboard?
and are any in "Wood" color?..i think it means only clear coat finished..
The V2 are from the Early 90īs RGs?

please any advise would be great?

thanks..

Ask him for a serial number so you can determine the exact year.

In the absence of pictures, I would advise you to spend the extra time and money to visit the guitar before buying it. I know you mentioned you're in distant states, but if you're in the same country (I assume this), it would save you the fear that you're not getting what you think yoú're getting.

i assume he read "Edge" in the trem block?
otherwise there's nothing wrote on it, except "Licensed Under..." etc etc...

Never buy anything on Deremate.com unless you see it in person.

Thatīs no an option..i wish I could go over there and look for the guitar myself. But is just not matter of money is a matter of Time too..

I asked him and he said that "is on the rear of the guitar, that you have to remove the plate in the back"..so i pressume that, Yes.. is in the block, where it should be..

I had done a lot of business in Deremate.com, but your right, i have never bought a Guitar at distance..i have bought 3 guitars before..even my Jem BSB but always I tested first. ...This would be the first time but the price is so low for that particular guitar and the guy seem to be nice..

Have you got Bad Experiences in Deremate.com?..

I offer him about $100 because i havenīt see the guitar and now he told me that the leveler is missing..now iīll wait..

Thank you all..
