How does the Artist series compare to the SZ/SZR?

I'm just curious, how does an Artist series like the ARX320 compare against the former SZ320/520 (or the new SZRs that have replaced them)?

Just looking at some of the specs they seem very similar with respect to body & neck material, scale length, bridge, etc. They're even at a similar price point. Other than the body shape and the pickups, anything else of significance that differs?

I'm just curious what peoples' impressions are. I own an SZ320EX, but I've never played or even held an ARX.
