How much did you pay for your PGM10th?

Ok... here we go again... I got another guitar on the hook... a PGM10th... I've been looking for this one since I got my PGM500CA... Its a beutiful piece, and theres only two in scandinavia. I could own the second one

well... the question is, how much did you pay for your PGM10th? or how much would you be willing to pay for one?

Ohhhh... Mmmmmm! Are there any tonal differences from the PGM500 (which I have atm)? I guess there are some because of the mahogany body...

Yes, the sound is different than a PGM500 (happen to have one, too ;-) ). It has a crunchier, grittier, heavier sound with distortion and a mellower, warmer, not as brassy sound when on clean channel. The middle selection (position 3) is swwwwweet! TONE 0 - like if a tone knob was rolled down to "0" on the neck pup.

Quantities - not sure? 100+? Only know of 4 in the states.

Ok... I got a preliminary price on the PGM10th... He said the list price in sweden was 23400 kr ($2672) so I guess the price could drop to something like 20000 -21000 kr ($2283 - $239

. I asked about the condition and he said it was a new guitar. Never played

!!

They were £1199 pounds over here in the UK, three shops had em, all for that price. amazingly good value, i pre ordered mine months in advance...and wasnt at all dissapointed. Although i sold it recently along with my JS10th... and now im selling my jems...
I had to offload it all to get a decent car... but now thats dealt with.
I regret getting rid of the PGM10, and id like to get a JS10 again, and a Jem10 even. But ive got some decent income again now, and im not worrying about the car, so i can replace them soon

Umm.. theres one on a well known auction site for 1200 EUR right now. But the seller ships only to germany. So, umm... come over here and buy it

Damn! This guy workes at a store chain where I know some guys... guess what I got the guitar for? 18 000 sek ($2 055)! Thats a really good price in sweden considering theres only two PGM10th's in scandinavia (the guy who's selling it got one (not the one that I'm buying), and the store where the guy is working has one)... for this price I get the guitar, case and free shiping to my door.

I'll close the deal tomorrow... Next week, I'll be a happy PGM10Th owner!

My PGM500 is going to have a buddy soon

I wonder if the info about how many were shiped to europe is true (5)... how come two of them ended up in tiny sweden?

The guitar lists for only $1500 for crying out loud. They should be selling for $1200 tops. A few hundred more in Europe but over $2000?!?!!?

So have they become so collectible that they gone up in price or did your local shops rip you off???
