How much for it

Hi there fellow ibanez players...

Im needing some help here. I have a colleague at work that has a JS 100, and he wants to sell it.
I haven´t seen this guitar yet, but he says that she´s laying around his mothers house, and that he broke the 2 main screws of the tremolo unit.
I think that the guitar its on a stand so, it must be exposed to all kind of temperatures...

How much is this kind of guitar worthing in our days anyway?

We can not forget that it must be in the need of new electric system...

So what do you say guys?

Cheers

Re: How much for it

if the trem studs are broken, the fact that it has been on a stand is the least of your worries

Re: How much for it

to accurately evaluate, we need pictures of the damage to the studs, stud holes, electronics, finish, etc.

Re: How much for it

if you need new pups wiring and trem. offer him 1/4 of the price he paid. if you have to drill out the stud holes. put in new studs and rewire it. thats alot of work but not that expensive if you do it yourself. the electronics, probably 40 to 70 dollars in labor not including the pups which you will want to replace anyway.

does this help?
