How to ID a Wizard neck?

I picked a winter project yesterday, I took it apart and found the neck stamped RG550 in red ink, the body was stamped SRG430 in black. I know the RG550 had the Wizard neck. Did I get lucky for $50?

Re: How to ID a Wizard neck?

Yeah, it's a Japanese RG4xx model - the biggest difference from the RG5xx being the trem. Still great quality, don't get me wrong. I recently got an RG470 neck that was stamped RG550, and I know a lot of the 570 necks I've taken off over the years on the old joints had RG550 stamped on them, too, so that's not that odd - I didn't recognize the ARG, then I saw the other thread up today about those, and the "A" is just a code of some type apparently.

Anyway, for 50 bucks, yes, you got a hell of a deal!

Thanks
Yea, the body has some dings but over all not bad. I have plans for this body. gpenguins I might have to take that RG320 body off your hands.
I am also looking for a better trem, maybe an OFR or Schaller.
