I got a new guitar today!

It is a 1992 540RLTD assembled in Hollywood. It is in excellent condition. Does anyone know what necks came on these? It is very flat and feels like a Wizard, but everything I have found on the net says it is an Ultra. I found it at my local GC for $400 out the door. They added new locking pads and bar, I just haven't installed them yet.

It feels like the original Wizard. I have a Wizard II, and it doesn't feel like that one. It has been a while since I have played an original Wizard, so I am not sure.

Ultra Wizard and Wizard are the same in specs, so It's a Ultra Wizard it's just of stronger build (can be mistaken on that one, please correct if I am wrong).

I've got a 540SLTD I got '91 and it has the original Wizard neck, pretty sure your 540RLTD will be a Wizard.
I much prefer the Wizard to the Wizard II.

Right on brother. I have all older Ibanezes with the Wizard necks. Sweetest ones IMO

I think you're talking about the super wizard.. there is no 'Ultra wizard' neck!

iirc, ultra necks were standard on the R's , until they brought up the 540LTDs.

What an awesome axe. I've always wanted a red radius.
