i have a 1987 rg550 should i mod or leave it original

its white and in good condition i have some pickups and tuners lying around i just dont know if i should mess with it

Yeah man, go for it. Just make sure you keep everything so you can restore it to original if required. As long as you don't do any routing, shouldn't be a problem.

put some Dimarzios in it (colored, hot pink.lime green, etc)

i have a 87 RG550 white also

yea its an amazing guitar i just think it diserves new pickups atleast after 22 years of being played

i have old pink pickups in it and it looks very well!i like green also.make something fun of it.

the rg2550z i had was white with pink pups,looked great shame it sounded crap lol,that said i dont think evo's sound to good in basswood.
