I have some questions on the RG 750.

The store I work at has a beautiful white one there that I might pick up if it's cheap enough. Anyways, I was wondering if these were made in America? Also what is the difference between these and RG 5** series? I haven't played it yet because it's still in the back and is waiting to be put out.

I think the main differences are the pickups and the neck inlays (dots vs. shark fins). I think the neck plate is also different. RG7XX have the Dimarzio-designed Ibanez pups while the RG5XX have the V1/V2 or V7/V8 depending on what year it's made. As far as i remember, they're all MIJ.

bound neck too, plus they're just a little better screwed together, so it seems. better quality control, probably.

you know how a jem is basically a 550 with bells and whistles? well a 750 is between the two in my opinion.

the pickups on the 7xx beat the s#!t out the ones in the 5xx series though.
