Well I think I lost the block lock that locks the springs,
will it effect the guitar if I don't use it?

i think its just extra precaution to stop the spring popping out. so i'd keep the back cover on the guitar, don't wanna have your nads removed on that extra low dive-bomb

(p.s. i doubt this actually happens)
