I made myself some sort of JPM!, RG470 project...

Hi y'all!

I am a bit of a modding-nut, so I decided a while ago to order the JPM graphic kit to "upgrade" my Ibanez RG470. I decided to put the stickers on today (well I have exams next week, so.... )

It's not near the real deal off course, but it looks way better now anyway Too bad my JPM P3 is in my other home, otherwise the differences would be obvious!

I've played for years on this baby (I've fortunately got a bigger budget now ), and it sure looks like that:

This is the new look, look how the single coil has disappeared mysteriously :

Thanks for the reactions guys

From nearby it's pretty obvious what this guitar really is: check the singlecoil

You could have filled that in. A bit of wood and some filler, or even some foam or something. That would have done it nicely. Its still good though, and those kits are nice. But that trem sure does spoil it! On an Edge or Lo-Pro equipped guitar it would be awesome. Nice Job though!

I'm not putting too much effort in upgrading this guitar. I played it to the bone when I didn't have enough money to buy a decent guitar. I blocked the lo-trs 6 years ago or something like that, and the last few years I haven't played it at all.

From further than a few feet away it looks fairly nice now, who would have thought that would ever happen again with this guitar
At least I can put it on the wall now without regretting that decision every time I see it hanging
