Re: Ibanez 2011 Line-up?

Ghostrider would be amazing, but that seems to be the Ibanez that time forgot :'(

Realistically speaking, if a Chris Broderick sig doesn't come out next year I'll be shocked.
I'm thinking that the Iceman will have a boost too, be it regular, or Fireman I'm expecting an extra model or two for those.
And then the usual bland RGs...
Though with so many sig models having the original Edge this year I'm not sure whether they'll start putting them on production models or not?

An American made RG. $1 = 80 yen can't be good!

Agreed. I always thought no inlays, or offsets looked cool. Remember the Kramer Nightswan? It had that wandering dot pattern and that was cool. I personally think any inlay clutters up a board.

I like to see more of the cantonene(sp?) orange. I love that orange color and the new orange colors they have are just gross.

Mmm hmm, Carotene Orange and Road Flare Red please!

Some Jems in the original Shocking Pink, Desert Yellow, and Loch Ness Green would also be cool.

Re: Ibanez 2011 Line-up?

Can anyone tell me if models available in Japan will be released in USA or Europe at a later stage?
I really like the looks of this one:

My dilemma now is, buy the RG3550mz prestige or wait and see what comes out next year? :/

Re: Ibanez 2011 Line-up?

I would love to see...prices going back to realistic ones...currently It is expensiver than ever to get a high-end japan made Ibanez in Europe...I don't think that regular production models like PGM401 and so on can justify almost 2000 euros. A couple of years ago you were buying this range just for 1300-1400. If prices go back to the old range there would be a couple of guitars I would love to own (PGM401, JS1600 and AT100) but I will not spent that much just for one guitar.

Regarding models I would like to see, a PGM800 reissue would be cool and also an affordable Fireman.

what did you do mattacuk? my prob is the SV5470 or RG 3550mz prestige...
i'd love a thru neck on a prestige and a fixed bridge or the bridge on the SV (only from what i read, i can't find any to play )
also im a fan of the iceman shape would like to see it prestige & i like the HSH split coil option as well... but would also enjoy a HSS
OH and 4sure i'd buy a Serious!! versatile baritone in a sec. !!!!-- like a new RGD (i think thats ibanez short scale baritone)

Yeah, the orange, I'd sell a left body part I have 2 of for one. Not a Loch Ness Green, the fact that there are only 777 if kid of the mystic of the LNG guitars.

I saw that and fell in love, along with a 350MYE. I go through stages of liking "Stratish" guitars with the sun burst colors and That's one I like. Put a maple fret board and I'd probably import one some how. I do have a friend that lives in Singapore right now.
