hey my friend has a 3700tt ive heard its kinda rare i was wondering what info you guys could give me to pass along to him

You mean the EX3700? The EX series were the first Ibanez guitars to be made in Korea. They were low-cost instruments, as everything else was made in Japan at that time. The 3700 is pretty rare, but the value isn't high. In fact I just saw one on e-Bay today. Can't remember the current high bid.

Although I don't doubt that relationship started earlier with something we're not considerring like Blazers or something.

"This is a rare guitar, one of the first Ibanez RG-style guitars made in Korea"....like that is something to be proud of.

Its at $202.50 it's already about $200 more than I'd spend on it.

You might be right, Rich. Actually the EX were the first HUSA-designed guitars to be made in Korea.

yep. i've got a couple those for very cheap on the bay, and i can tell they're better then the Korean RGs from the early '90s.
