Did jemmm ever finish the 540II-VII? I'd love to see pics of it.

EDIT:I really, really like Kristian's 540II's with the natural finishes. Were any ever made like this? I know that he did his himself/had them done, but were there ever any that were produced like that? They look gorgeous.

Kristian had the paint stripped off his 540p-II's. You can read more about them on the Demonoid forum (search google for demonoid forum ultimate metal, should be first hit).

Hey do you know anyone with a RG 540 P II 24 fret body? or anyone who can make the body? I have a 24 fret 540 P II neck and would like to buy a body so i can complete it. any know has dimensions for the body so one can be made?? thanks

My fave thread. IMO This should be stickied same with teh 565 etc but then I'm sure it would snowball into everyone wanting a dedicated sticky for their gat... ah forget it... I cant wait until my custom power II is finished.

just ordered my custom mahogany 540 PII body from the bay today, but I'm putting a super wizard neck on it instead of a reverse headstock one. Can't wait!!!!
Best body shape Ibanez has ever put out in my opinion.

Here are some of mine...I kept the Yellow HS and the white HH. The silver one was too much of a project, I had planned on airbrusing the Testament CD cover on that one, but ended up selling it.

The deal fell through for some reason, so I was unable to
get the body for now. I know of two people that can build
the body for these, so I'll wait until spring to order one.

Here's mine. Don't laff, its had the No Fear on it since 1989.
I attached a Roland GK-3 pickup to it 3 years ago by firing 2 screws right through the black finish and have never looked back. One day I may strip this guitar down and turn it into some sort of a robot guitar. Maybe add some fans, lights, moving parts, 4 or 5 more pickups, a photo frame, some laser LEDs. Who knows?....
