The tuning key on my B string is slipping. Just before it gets to pitch, the key starts slipping and free spinning. Upon further inspection, the screw that holds the key to the tuner keeps coming loose. Ive tried to tighten it down and retry, but always right about A# it will start to slip. I was just going to put some loctite on it and see if that works, but i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, what they did. I've had this guitar for about 2 years. it plays and sounds beautiful and this is the first problem ive had with it. any help would be appreciated thanks

Sorry to hear about your plight. It really would be worth investing in some good quality replacement one's like Gotoh.

Thanks for the advice. Loctite was going to be my temporary solution and i was looking for some good replacement tuners. The ibanez site lists the tuners for this acoustic as "chrome die cast tuners", i wish they were a little more specific as to the type of tuner as well as Ibanez usually as better quality. Maybe its a one time fluke though. either way, thanks for the help!
