Hi folks! I´m selling my Ibanez "Alex Skolnick" 540 Power Two on eBay. She´s an old pretty one, and many people doesn´t knows or doesn´t belives how much it costs. Retail price on a guitar that's 11+ years old is pretty irrelevant. The only thing that really matters is what they sell for now. From what I've seen $400-600 seems to be the price range, depending on condition/pickup configuration, etc. Now...if you had a 24-fret model you'd probably have a better chance at getting $600+ for it.

I'm sure that Rich has the original retail price list handy though.

I wonder if it's the one that ended this morning on Evilbay. Search the completed items. I wanted it sooooo bad, but I knew it would go too high for me by the time it was over. Went for $735, I believe.

My guitar is not the Ebay one! I cant sell at Ebay cause I´m from Brasil, and I cant take the money by any payways on Ebay... so I cant sell my guitar there! The Ebay one was original yellow, mine is repainted red sparkle, matching headstock, and got a Paul Gilberts signature behind the headstock... besides mine has 24 freets, the Ebay one was 22!!! :P

I bid on that guitar twice in the last seconds. Both times got knocked out for low bid. I had placed $655 in there and still got hammered. That guitar went for way over it's value. I own 2 of these, both bought in the $450.00 range. All original. Keep watching that was the 3rd one I've seen in 3 months. I was heartbroken too!

Yeah, people are starting to pay crazy prices for certain Ibanez, Jacksons, and Charvels on ebay. It's really annoying. Like that Charvel Surfcaster that brought over a grand a couple days ago. Riiiiiiidiculous. I guess I should buy all of 'em I find in pawnshops for under $400.

Keep watching that was the 3rd one I've seen in 3 months. I was heartbroken too!

I hit the 'bay every hour or so. I'm gonna get me one, someday. I really want yellow, but I'll take what I can get. Hopefully, one of us will grab the next one.

I traded two RG570's and an old Wah pedal for mine. The RG570's are ones I picked up on eBay for about $180-220 a piece. I'd say I got mine for right around $425.
It's in MINT condition.

I can't remember who, but a jemsite member wanted this guitar with 24 frets, i think a different pickup configuration, but i know the 24 frets was the selling point there.
