Ibanez & DC Justice League crossover products :P

G'day all..

My love for all things collectible, has got me thinking about a crossover, with Ibanez and DC Justice League Series of Guitars. Because of the new Justice League Mortal movie to be released in 2011, I cant imagine a better way to enjoy characters like the Green lantern, Superman, batman flash, etc... then to have Ibanez create a collectors edition of guitars that sport the colors and logos of the heroes.

I quickly created some versions of what I think might work. I reckon cool custom airbrushing of each of the superheroes would go down a treat also, but I only had the time for logos..

I reckon I will make a Green Lantern Ibanez one day in the future, but I'd love Ibanez to do this...

What do you guys think ?

All of them are cool but Batman certainly can't be yellow! His suit is more of a gray with the cape a darker blue so you'd have to do the body/headstock in that gray with the blue pickups or vice versa.

I know a lot of people on here have been calling for a return of the neon colors for a long time now and this would certainly hit that mark. I'm skeptical that Ibby would do a licensing deal like this with DC and make these guitars, but it would certainly be cool if they did. It would really be cool if they did the inlays on the batman guitar as the Batman logo, The flash as lightning bolts, the Green Lantern as the lantern logo, etc. More work for sure, but it would make it more unique and, therefore, more of a collector's item and make them more money. Maybe a limited run of several hundred of each?

Creative new things are good.

I think they should do Marvel ones instead starting with a JS guitar in Silver Surfer colours....

So its not a big stretch of the imagination that Ibanez would do a crossover with DC, as they have already done it with Marvel..

Id have so much trouble choosing which one, but it would have to be Green Lantern.

I guess the batman can be a Dark blue or Black colored Body

dude, charcoal black and yellow for batman...they would be awesome if made real!!! Aquaman looks like fun too!!

definately have the logo on the 12th fret and on the truss rod cover!!!

What have they done with Marvel, besides the JS20 (which wasnt an entirely "friendly" process)?

Well what I ment was, that Ibanez have already dealt with a comic related company.

and Giger, so dealing with DC shouldn't be that far fetched of an idea

Batman, Black/Dark blue body (although there are enough black guitars already) Yellow pickups, Yellow bat inlays, Ebony board, cape (not sure how to fit that), custom strap acts as utility belt.

I actualy have about 8 T shirts and one lounge shirt (and 3 belt buckles) that would match that perfectly.....

Good idea! But it should be very easy to convert any of the shelf RG into one of these.
All you need is the paint, pickup covers and the corresponding decal and you are good to go.

Dont get me wrong it would be to hard to make em, but what I really want is not what the VRG builder can provide.

i want more graphics of the actual hero and better inlays etc...
