Until somebody that has a 2005 Japanese catalog can confirm [buddroyce?], I say, elaborate hoax.

The front of the headstock is Crystal Planet
The back of the headstock is also Crystal [edition of 200, what a coincidence] and is of smaller size than the rest of his pics.
I've never heard of it or seen one for sale anywhere in the Jp market, and if the edition was 200, I would have.
50000yen is $430.
There's not one picture of all of it together, just "component" pics.

I thought the headstock looked familar but wasnt sure... who in there right mind would hack up a Crystal..

There is no shot of the whole guitar, which is one of the reasons I say elaborate hoax.

You can't hack up a Crystal and end up with that guitar because the Crystal is 22 frets. It has to be seperate headstock pictures, false of course.

Looks like a Hoax.. I've never heard of it, nor have I ever seen it advertised in any issue of Young Guitar that I've come across.. EVER... and just to prove this is a hoax, I just checked my 2005 Ibanez Japan catalog seeing that he says I can find this guitar on page 8 in the 2005 Ibanez Japan catalog.....I SEE............ J.CUSTOM..... and nothing there about a "Cosmic Wonder" or any ad that looks like the one he posted.

Btw... Dimarzio Cosmic Distortion?? WTF??

Actually I'm starting to build quite a library of Japanese catalogs.. (Ibanez, ESP, Edwards, Navigator, Killer, Caparison). I just gotta figure out which box they're in...

If it is a "Cosmic Wonder" (whatever that is, if it exists) why oh why does the guitar in the auction not match the one in the picture of the band??? The body is way different in the pic of the band.

And if you look at the pictures that show the trem, it is obviously NOT an Edge Pro even though they say that it is. It's got the little things sticking out the back which you only see on more traditional Floyd copies like the Edge, Lo Pro, Lo TRS, etc.

From the photo of the back of the headstock it does not look like a "5 PIECE MAPLE /WALNUT NECK MATERIAL PLUS MAPLE AAA NECK WITH BUBINGA REINFORCEMENT" neck.
