Ibanez Custom Shop

I heard you have to be an Ibanez endorsee to use Ibanez's custom shop. How would you endorse them? Do you have to be in a really popular band or something? Cause I really want one!

...but yes, you would have to be in a very popular band, or artists like Vai, Gilbert and Satch. You cannot have one atm.

you don't necessarily have to be a big star to endorse them and have them building you custom models. that's just for the signature models.

Ibanez does not have a custom shop. You have to customize the guitar to your prefered specs out of the box like the neck, pups tone knobs. some trems are interchangeble some are not. So you have to build it like a puzzle. but if you want top notch, more than you could imagine setup they have a custom team from japan that makes the high end ibanez. Its the top of the top in the ibanez world that costs around $2500.

Disregard everything that bebisatch is saying, it is completely wrong.

Ibanez has a custom shop in Los Angeles, and they sadly only make them for endorsees. However, I see them being sold second hand once in a while. I can give you the contact info for a guy in Sweden who is selling a custom shop Ibanez 7-string for $2400 (he's not giving a lot of info) if you want.

Terji Skibenaes from Tyr recently got a custom 7-string Xiphos. That's an indication of the degree of fame/establisment you'd need to become an endorsee *and* get an LACS. Mind, he had used Ibanez pretty much all the time, so I guess you'd have to be a faithful endorsee. If you'd like a custom guitar from a well-established brand, try for ESP.

And maybe if you offered $20M to cover up their "sales" of your signature, they'd even make a signature guitar with all the promotion on their website
