Ibanez DT mistery

Hi all,

I bought a brand new bolt-on black DT reissue in the mid 90's (1996?) and sold it since. Does anyone know what model it was or if it was featured in any catalogue (japan...).

The specs were:

Bolt on maple neck (2 pcs)
Basswood body
Gloss black w/ matching headstock
rosewood board
tune o matic + stop tail


I miss this guitar and I am trying to get another one so the model number would help a lot. I can't find anything about a mid 90's DT....

There was a DT420, I don't remember specific years, but I guess that's your guitar. It was issued in a "flaky" back and Candy Apple Red.

They are on the bay pretty often

I am pretty sure DT420 was made in the early 2000s (probably around 2002) and was Candy apple red or galaxy black.

They do look good and flashy but I prefer the plain simple gloss black of the 90's version. Mind U, if I could find a good DT420 with shipment to the UK I think I'd go for it too.
