Ibanez Family Pic

I decided to take a family pic:

From left to right:

Roadstar II RG440 (modified pickguard for neck humbucker, PAF Pro bridge, stock mid, Breed clone neck with coil tap at tone knob)
JS100 (upgraded Gotoh Floyd, Evo bridge, Fred neck)
540P (Mighty Mite neck cause I can't stand the thin Wizard, SD Screamin' Demon bridge, stock mid and neck)
RG550 (Kramer neck, for same reason, stock mid, Evo bridge, Breed neck)
RG7620 (Evo 7 bridge, SD Jazz 7 neck)
SZ520QM (went for Les Paul look on hardware, SD Custom Custom bridge, PAF neck with coil tap on the 3rd knob)

Re: Ibanez Family Pic

I actually just picked up an old Kramer of you-know-where. How's the neck on it? I was checkin the specs on it and it seemed about the same as the Wizard

It's thicker than a Wizard. Not a baseball bat like a Strat, but somewhere in between.

I like the look of the kramer/ibby and strat/ibby.

Yeah, thanks. I like the Kramer hockey stick headstock on the RG the best.

Re: Ibanez Family Pic

Is that RG AANJ or Sqare heal? If square does the Kramer neck have the same type of overhang?

Re: Ibanez Family Pic

I'm assuming its the square heel since the angle would be ridiculously steep for an AANJ. I know on every Kramer I've seen, there's a small amount of overhang similiar to that on the Jacksons

I had to rout the neck pocket of the RG body to make the square heel of the Kramer neck fit. The original Wizard neck does have that overhang. An old square heel RG body will fit a standard Strat neck, but you'll have a wierd space between the neck and pickup where the overhang is supposed to be.

Js100 is pretty cool. Use to have one in black, LO-TRS gave me problems though
