Ibanez parts needed, please help

The 5-way pickup selector on my early 90's 540S is going bad, anyone know when I can get a new one?

heres 2 places i know of, carvin probably has higher quality and guitarfetish is probably lower quality. but I'd go with carvin since its only $0.05 more and most likely higher quality since its carvin.

Yea, their "higher end" guitars from Indonesia.

The YM50 that's in your 540 is a much better switch.

These will NOT fit my 540S, I've checked all kinds of "Strat" style 5-way switches and they do not fit the slim body of the 540S models. They stick out so far that you could not even get the rear cover plate back on the guitar. After asking around numerous music stores, they pretty much tell me that only an Ibanez replacement part will fit into the body. Any other suggestions?

How do I know that this YM 50 will fit the low profile body of a Ibanez 540S? It looks like the same size (Depth) as all the other "Strat" styles we tried, and none of them fit. Are you sure this will work in a 540S?

You don't have the original switch still? If it was early 90's it was a YM50, and would say so on the side of it. Late 90's would have a VLX91 in it.
