Ibanez PGM301 Paul Gilbert Signature

Hi everyone. A while back I bought the Ibanez PGM301 Paul Gilbert Signature model. I was really in love with it at first as it had 3 things I demand in a guitar; fixed bridge, nothing but a volume control & pickup selector, and 3 pickups. I also got lucky in that I bought it off "the bay" and got it already upgraded with new DiMarzio pickups (Air Norton neck, Fast Track 1 middle, Tone Zone bridge). But recently I've fallen on some hard times so I'm thinking about selling it. (Probably back on the bay.) However, is it true the Ibanez PGM301 was discontinued? I ask because I figure it should go for more now...and if it does go for more I'm going to hold off on selling it and let it marinate a while longer and try to get even more for it later. Is it true the PGM301 is discontinued? Let me know what's up. Thank you.

It's true that they're discontinued, but the prices haven't gone up any. "New" condition 301's are going for what they were selling for originally. Used ones get used prices. As many of them were produced, they're not rare or hard to find on the used market. You'll get a fair price, because they're nice guitars. But you're not likely to make a profit anytime soon.
