Ibanez R354GF

Hi

I'm actually a keyboards/piano player (and have been so for nearly 4 decades!) but have recently taken up guitar. I've got the opportunity to purchase an R354GF but unfortunately the seller knows very little about the guitar, having purchased it second-hand himself last year. All he cared about was the fact that it looked, sounded and handled superbly! Unfortunately though he knows nothing about its history, or even the construction/materials.

It's in good nick, and I love the sound quality (through a Roland amp). I'm searching for information on the guitar as I can see from the Ibanez site that it is not a current model.

I'd be very grateful for any insights into the model, or pointers to where I could get the information.

Many thanks

Graham

Re: Ibanez R354GF

Thanks for the pointer, but still searching I'm afraid - the ibanez register site is a great resource but the model isn't listed. I did learn a little bit more though about the significance of the R in front of the model code!

I suspect it's quite similar to the R355GF, whose specs are listed here:

Re: Ibanez R354GF

I owned an R354 last year for about 3 months. It had Dimarzios in it too, very nice guitar! I sold it to someone else on there boards in the end, cant remember his name though. No-one really knows much about the guitar itself though Im afraid. My model had its body stripped of the paint, so it was all natural wood.

It just didnt suit my needs at the time though.
