Ibanez Reb Beach voyager

I just got a offer, trade for my EJ Strat for a Ibanez Reb Beach RBM2NT.

Here is a picture of it.

Would you trade and for how much do these Reb Beach guitars go for ?

It's in good condition, close to unplayed...

ANY info would be great, specially on how much these babies go for since I can't find any for sale.

Thanks !

It's certainly worth more than your EJ Strat. I'd go for it !!

I'd be very wary of a con unless you can do this in person.

Re: Ibanez Reb Beach voyager

It's a local luthier that has it.

I'm doing it in person.

Rich could you guess what it's worth ?

If it is a 2 and not a converted 400, and is mint, $3000+, in the US anyway.

Re: Ibanez Reb Beach voyager

Thanks Rich, I'm getting the serial number tomorrow and I'm playing the guitar as well.

Is there anything that should tell me if it's a converted 400 ?

Re: Ibanez Reb Beach voyager

400 is solid mahogany. The 2 has a 3/8" thick Koa top on it.

Nice that's easy to spot.

I'll let you guys know how it goes down.

Is there a market for these guitars ?

I live in Iceland so I would have to ship it overseas...

Re: Ibanez Reb Beach voyager

These axes are really nice, I played one at a music shop about 16-17 years ago, until now I'm sorry I didn't buy it. Great playability and tone. I'm always on the look out for one of these... Hope the deal is what you're expecting good luck.

Regards,
Nelson

Re: Ibanez Reb Beach voyager

I would just swap to sell it out of the country, just afraid that it's not going to sell.

I'm going to see it today, if it's mint and real I'm going to swap I think.
