Ibanez RG vs RGT

Could somebody describe to me the differences in tone between the standard RG, basswood body, versus an RGT, with mahogany body and maple/walnut neckthru?

I'm curious overall as to where the RGT stands in overall tonal characteristics, because it has a warm/dark wood like mahogany, but a maple/walnut neck thru which is are brighter sounding woods.

in a neckthrough, most of the tone comes from the neck, just for the fact everything is primarily attached and the sustain transfer occours through the neckthrough instead of the body, then the neck

to some extent but a floating bridge takes away from the sound. direct mount, string thru body and other factors can vastly increase tone.
mahogany and maple are a nice match in tone woods. basswood is balanced but different from mahagany and maple. mahogany tends to be darker and warmer and maple is bright and spanky so the mixture of the two is the best of both worlds IMHO.

i've got both
the neckthru dont really have a super dark sound
it actually sounds pretty much similar to basswood body
maybe the maple strip balance out with the body, i m not sure
but they both have the typical ibanez sound
