Ibanez RG2EX worth it?

Apparently the Ibanez RG*EX series are Guitar Center exclusives? I'm just wondering if the Ibanez RG2EX is worth it? It's made in Indonesia with fake EMG pickups, but it's unbelievably gorgeous, great setup and feel to it. However, is it worth the $300 or should I just buy 3 used pedals for $100 [mint condition]? I've wanted an Ibanez guitar that doesn't have a FR style trem as a backup, and this has the looks to satisfy me. I'm sure I can replace the pickups with some DiMarzios or Duncans or what not, but is the wood of decent quality and does it sound good?

I played it, very nice look to it, but I would rather get the RG321, better quality and reliability.

Those GC exclusives are mostly made in indonesia ( I think) they look nice though...especially that RG3EX (blue with chrome everything and white binding)
