Thumbs up

Ibanez RG350M YE

Hi, all :-)

I actually have no freakin idea what kind of strings that originally come with this guitar, but have a weak feeling that it's the same as my other giutar, the Ibanez RG350DX ;-)

So if any of you know, please speak out ;-)

Yeah, I know ;-)

Just out of the blue, I read somewhere on the internet, that if a guitar is pre-setup for one thickness of the strings, then maybe you have to use that gauge all the time?

I saw that on my Ibanez RG350DX, the fancy white one with the black hardware, there was a certain string-gauge, that I bought... I mean, when buying new strings, i bought the same that the guitar came with originnally from the factory :-)

I think I wrote kinda weird, but hope you fellow Ibanez-owners can figure out what I mean :-)

They come with D'Addario 9 to 42.

This guitar has become one of my favorite in my collection! I'm really happy with it.

Thx, man :-)

Yeah, I think it's a good looking guitar, as well as it plays well :-)

So I'm looking forward getting it :-)

Congrats, BenoA, with that guitar. I'm, as I'va said, getting one too :-)

Besides, how many were produced?

And how many were shipped to Europe?

If I could make a suggestion? Spend a little bit of time learning how to set it up as you may find that you prefer the feel of 10's,11's or what have you. It can be a rewarding experience.

You are far from being bound by the factory set up. The tech section on this site is good and there are plenty of Youtube vids.

Good Luck.

That's a good thing to know :-)

But I think it's hard work to actually change the string gauge-holders by myself, but then, also, it is interesting to try it out :-)

Maybe I'll do that sometime I have a guitar too much and a little to much free time on hand ;-)

Only joking. Thx for the advice :-)
