Ibanez RG450??

Hey,

should i buy this RG450? It states that its a MIJ RG,??

is it worth buying? for about $350 AUD,

I don't know much about these models, so much help would be appreciated

bid up to $450AU, thats the max its worth. The 4xx series tends to be over priced on ozbay and the 5xx series are underpriced. I know this first hand because my mate has a MIJ 470 '96 model he bought for $900 and my '99 570 was only $550 . so if it goes over $450 dont bother.

And i think i remember this one used to have a starting bid of like 900 didnt it?

well, the starting bid was 1$...

i done a search in the past threads and i found that an RG450 MIJ comes with an Edge Bridge, am i right?... so does this mean it is a MIK RG with a TRS?

no its has a lo-trs 1 so its MIJ, the MIJ 4xx's were all mongrels, they changed it every year like some had edges, some had 550 wizard necks etc.

The RG5xxx is a much better option.

$900 AUD, about $600 USD still heaps tho..

Ive got a 92' (ish) RG450 MIJ with edge and no-brand pups...

Ive used it for my main axe since I bought it... great - shame theres no AANJ

noooooooooooooooo. dun get it. the 450 is great axe but dun get any 450 with the lo trs. if u can get a 450 with the edge pro tats much better. the lo trs is a horrendous trem.the edge pro is much better and stable. so the 450 is great but get it if it has a edge pro.

I have a 450 with a maple board. MIK I think, has a trs-101 which is like an OFR. I like the guitar a lot. Just don't pay too much for it.
