Ibanez rg550 help needed!

Can you recognize what type of tremolo and pickups are on this guitar?
Seller said it was made in Japan.

An RG550 would have either an Edge or a Lo Pro Edge on it and that trem is neither. Pickups would be V7, S1, V8, but those one's don't look right as well.

that's a Single-Locking trem, i.e. a bad piece of sh!t. that's not a 550 of course, looks more likely something like a pickguard-version of the 270 (indonesia/china).

the RG550 always sported the following trems:

EDGE


LO-PRO EDGE


anyway, there are some japanese-made cheapos, like the 250B, that sport bad trems like the TRS101, but i think that's not japanese. ask the seller to take a pic on what's written behind the headstock.

The tremolo is the single locking version found on the 200 series models, and I have no clue on the pups.

That is not a 550, notice the trem route.

check the serial number...
and yes the trem isnt it for a 550 for sure... that guitar should be a 250 or something...

Also, a 550 will have a separate cavity cover for the input jack on the back of the guitar.

i dont know if its the lighting but that trem in many ways to me looks very disproportionate from most ibanez trems. also its color of the metal almost looks like plastic, the tunning nobs are really big awkwardly, its not the worst fake but it looks like one of those fake trems people buy. look at the tremolo poles too. those are not normal. i cant identify the pups but they dont stand out as anything good from a notorious company or anything ibanez makes stock either. considering the fact the trem is probably fake i would not doubt many other parts are too.
