i would buy it and replaced the neck....i think its childisch...come on....it looks retarded as hell,who's idea was it to put a bad painted snake on the fretboard?first i laught about it now i feel terrible only to think about it! aaarh.....but it can be fun....when your 14 or so..

from what i can gather figures from a couple of people this side of the pond and the other ,100 was the figure that was mentioned as for the other statement about being retarded and appealing to 14 year olds to each their own but at least learn to spell if you're going to try and flame someone

it isnt that bad as i said before.....the guitar is great!but i dont like the snake that much.i take back some words.sometimes im a litle rough with speaking.i love the jem sk and others hate it.i completly understand you buy it.

its never gonna be a 59 les paul but it is what it is a really different super strat

what value do you reckon they put on one or where can i find out as its just lumped with my other guitars on standard house insurance?

i don't think its gonna be more than a normal jem but would be nice to make sure it was covered

Realisticly, I'd say not much more than a regular 550, off the top of my head, probably not much more than £600 tops.

I'd say you should look to get printouts of all the ones you can find on **** in completed items and use that to get proof of value for your insurers.

They go for way more than a standard RG550!

Nobody is going to buy a serpent and replace the neck. You gonna pay $1500 for a collectible RG just to put a new neck on it? That's silly.

I think it's cheesy but if I owned it I would definitely play it. And when I'm not playing it I could always use it as a game board for snakes and ladders.

i was a little to rude,the pink guitar is totally different than this one.
and i have played the serpent/snake and wasnt impressed of the quality of the inlay.
thats all.further the guitar is a stock rg5000 and very nice.
and you can think the same of my pgm100....
