Ibanez RG565 custom in Red (Paul Gilbert)

hi....

i want share with you my custom RG565 something like the Paul's ghostrider guitar on 'intense rock II' video. you know

before (original):

now (custom):

change pickups. only one pot. repaint. and with a Seymour Duncan JB and a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 on neck.

it still needs wiring. this is the reason i opened a thread asking the wiring diagram of this guitar. but now i dont need it... i took the guitar to a excellent luthier.

dani.

F'king awesome. Control / pickup layout is almost perfect (I would have relocated the vol knob in between the original positions of the vol + tone). White pickups highlight the logo nicely.

Sell it to meeeeee!

That looks great! Got any pictures of the process of filling the old volume knob hole? Or at least a description of the process? I'm always curious about things like that.

Re: Ibanez RG565 custom in Red (Paul Gilbert)

Lovely! I hope that I'll be able to find a nice RG565 someday. If or when I'll get one I'm gonna get it modded:
-scallop the fretboard
-paint it white w. matching headstock (black Ibanez logos)
-DiMarzio HS-3/YJM as a neck pup
-DiMarzio PAF pro as bridge pup

:P
