Ibanez RG760 - Still the best

I have owned the RG760 from the day it hit the store back in the '80's. I replaced the stock pickups with EMG's and this guitar has been nothing short of awesome for me ever since. I am so satisfied that I am considering an RG520 for my collection. Will this guitar be availabe in other colors, besides the blue flame top? Finally, in 98 did the RG520 come in a tung-oil finish? Thanks for your time and keep building world class guitars.

Ibanez RG760

first off, its blue quited, not blue flame (although ibanez TOTALLY needs more flamed in the linup) and according to the catalog its only made in blue. there is a 320QS (i think) which is basically the same guitar with a red quilted top, however, the 320 has lower class electronics (not an issue if you will be pup swapping anyway), the Tremolo, and the neck is a wizard 2, instead of a regular wizard. the wizard 2 is a little fatter, but IMO just as nice. I own an RG270, and im in love with it. Im even thinking about getting the RG270DX just so i can have it in 2 different cool colors, with 2 different inlays (the DX is dark red with sharktooth inlays and black hardware *stiffy*)

and personally, i dont think ibanez even reads this site

I know this post is old but glenn always barks when we dont search. So anyways...........the 520 came in tung oil although in 98 or not who knows, it was kind limited, and Ive only seen one, although I must say it was stunning. IF the tops had been that lite of a color on all of them, ibanez would have had a hard time keeping them on the shelves. The 760 is a great guitar. Currently my holy grail instrument. Im looking for one in the nickel color. any shape or condition.

The 520 I've seen in a store about a year ago was real nice, but it was the mocca brown, if it had been the blue one I would have proudly owned one a year know, IMO the wizard neck is far superior to the wiz 2, but that's only because I only play on a (super) wizard neck nowadays
