If it didn't have the crap EMG pups and the reaper, I think it would be pretty badass. Especially because of the reverse, color matched headstock. Ibanez is slowly making progress yet again...

Weird guitar. The fretboard is ridiculous. Finish looks like watermark taffeta. It's best feature is it's reverse headstock. And WTF... no trem...

Thats a very cool axe. I like the reaper inlay. I'd replace the pups with real EMGs or some DiMarzios though.

I think the finish is neat, and the inlay is a cool idea, but not my bag

The guitar buying market right now doesnt want a tremolo system :P. It was once difficult to get a good rg with a fixed bridge. But i agree id rather have a tremolo or a hardtail available on every model.

On a second look, it's an embarrassment to the Ibanez name.

Re: Ibanez RGR521 with Reaper Inlay or Barbed Wire Inlay

If it had better pickups, and was made in japan, it wouldve been an improvement for Ibanez. Like this, its just a step backwards. This is just a "OMG Im METALLL!!!" guitar. I have to admit the inalys are nice. Id buy a guitar with a barbed wire inlay if it was good but this is just looks, no quality

matching reverse headstock. hm... ok Ibanez, you're somehow walking the right direction. now, put the maple with black shartooth inlays neck on this guitar and put some life to the finish. then you'll getting very close to the climax

Oh Noes! That thing's horrible.

Give it me in a black quilt with maple fingerboard then i'll happily pay through the nose for it
