Ibanez S1670FM Prestige

Hello.

I've been offered to buy a Ibanez S1670FM pretty cheap and i like the looks and on the paper the specs looks great. The thing is I've been trying to find some good info about the guitar, but it seems pretty rare. What i found out it was made just a short time in -03. What I wounder is if it's good or bad? Like did they stop making the guitar case it blew? And if anyone got any experience with this guitar that could help me decide wether buying it or not I'd really appriciate some input.

Buy it, if it doesn't play all that well just hang it on the wall and stare at it - it's beautiful.

I'm sure it's a good guitar, it's just that they keep adding and dropping models all the time. Seems like the grandfather of the current S5470.

So, I bought the guitar. But of course the guy who had it used waaay to thin strings lol, and it's not too god setup'd. So I was thinking on lowering the bridge, do i need to release the strings before i mess with the tremolo like on regular floyds? Even though it uses this balltech?

Also i feel that the QM2 pickup is a little weak for me. It doesn't give out too much, pretty thin sound and low gain. Is it just my playing and setup that's the fault? I read about alot of people who likes these pickups. Would it be worth changing it for some Dimarzio with a fatter sound?
