As far as I know from 2005 onward Only prestige and J-custom models are made in Japan all others are made in Korea.
As for the older models I have no idea.

Holy Bat Thread Revival, what about the RG 20th?

I also have a S470 made in Korea. Can't remember waht trem it has though, have to dig it out from under the bed . Sweet gitar though...soooo thin?!!??
