I just came across an Ibanez Silver Series. It's a
Fender Strat Replica. Ash body with natural finish and a
maple fretboard. 3 single coils. 21 fret fretboard with the truss rod on the body side, not the headstock. Anyone know anything about these? I think I remember that they came out for 2 years during the "lawsuit" era. It may be a 1977, if they still used the dating like today. The first 3 digits in the serial number are I77. But that's pure speculation. I really like this guitar, much better than some Fenders I've owned. Anyone know anything about this? Anyone with mid-late 70's catalogues???
