Identify this guitar, please.

I've had this for at least 10 years now (probably more), and it's the nicest, best playing, best sounding guitar I've ever heard in my life. I know it's low end, but if someone were to trade me ANY high ender for it, I would say no.

It's old as hell, and honestly sounds like a strat on the neck, and like hell unleashed on the bridge. Might be because it's old, might be my ear, but anyhow.

This:

Serial number is 8906137, I think it's an EX. The original bridge and tuners were black, I replaced them with paper route money (I'm 28, mind you) when I was about 14-15. Note that the body is rounded, not sharpened angles like a 550/etc.

I'd love to get any background on it if I can, and additionally if anyone has one of these exact guitars in MINT condition, I'm willing to pay $1000 plus shipping to Massachusetts for it - but it HAS to have 100% _original_ hardare, pickups, pots, knobs (etc) on it.

Translated: You might find one in a music store for $150, so take a peek next time you're there and make some cash.

Thanks guys.

Thanks guys. I know it was low end, but again, if someone has a completely pristine one, to me it's well worth a grand. It's a 15 year old guitar we're talkin' about. I honestly wouldn't trade mine for a brand new JPM.

Thanks again.

You can buy a ton of those for about U$S200 each in argentina. They pop up every now an then in the acutions sites www.deremate.com.ar and mercadolibre.com.ar .

I really dont understand how you would pay top dollar for sucha guitar. Hell, I wouldnt even pay the U$S200 they ask for them..... but at least now you now where to find a bunch of them.

My first Ibanez was a purple pearl EX 360. I've still got it, too. Won't be selling it, though. It's got a small (repaired) crack on the neck, anyways...

Chris,

If you still want one, I have a 1991 Candy Apple Red EX360 in pristine condition with Ibanez hard case.

Let me know.

Spoken as a TRUE musician with attachment to his guitar, it dosen't matter if its nor a JEM or a high ender, as long as you love it and enjoy it, dosen't matter what brand it is, congrats man!

I completely agree, doesn't matter what it is, as long as it feels right. I personally have that attatchment to my jem7, i know its high end and all, but i know that if i traded it for the same guitar it wouldn't feel right.
